Freeplay

Tried searching the forum, couldn't find it.

Can somebody explain a Freeplay? Example: If I get a $100 freeplay, do I only get to wager it once?

If you wager the whole 100 in one game and you win you get the profits but the book keeps the original wager.

Okay, that makes sense. So once the bet is made, the freeplay $ is gone.
